A UK-based financial services organization wanted an online portal for all of its sales and remuneration information—a place where staff members could easily view, compare and analyze sales and performance data. In order to provide a seamless user experience and drive sales, the new portal needed to have the same look and feel as existing sites, and integrate with existing user access systems.
After analyzing the client’s broad strategy—not only for the online portal but also for future applications—TechAspect recommended appropriate CMS and database systems, and selected Sitecore as the content management platform. During development and implementation, TechAspect organized content at different levels of the information hierarchy, resulting in easy content editing for authors.
Among other results, the Sitecore UI’s extensibility feature enabled the addition of an email application, which distributed helpful campaign material to branch staff, including a “deal of the day” promotion. The client also witnessed a 30% increase in product sales across all branches, increased site engagement by over 65% and improved customer loyalty through new cross-sell opportunities.
